The Prevention of HIV/AIDS Among Migrant Workers in Thailand Project (PHAMIT), funded by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria (GFATM), is a collaborative project of eight NGOs: Raks Thai Foundation (the Principal Recipient) , Center for AIDS Rights (CAR), World Vision Foundation of Thailand, PATH, Stella Maris Center, MAP Foundation, Empower (Chiang Mai), and Pattanarak Foundation. PHAMIT partners are working in over twenty provinces throughout Thailand in partnership with the Ministry of Public Health and local health providers, to prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS and to improve the quality of life among migrant workers, their families and sex workers. |
